The County Council has recently announced a plan to encourage 20mph speed limits where local communities support them. So, your Parish Council wants your view. The survey below, closing on Christmas Day, is how we would prefer you to submit your feedback (there will also be a paper copy in Dorchester News this month). To provide some background, we recently did a speed survey in the village, the results of which were shared in the last edition of Dorchester News. With your feedback the Parish Council will then form a view in consultation with the highways authorities and share it with residents in the new year. Thank you. Councillors John Edwards & Mike Corran

Christmas and New Year 2021
With Christmas and New Year coming up, there are several things coming up to look forward to, whether listening to a concert, making some purchases from local artisans, or just enjoying the sparkling lights. So I wanted to create a special christmas/new-year page to share all the things you could do in the village. Note that I hope this page will show more over the coming weeks, so please do look back.
If you know of any other events happening in the village (or that would be of strong interest to the local villagers), things being sold which would be ideal for presents, please do let me know using the sites contact form, and I will try to get them added.
